Eligibility & Areas of Study

The scholarship is available to graduating high school
seniors, current college students, and non-traditional
students.

Eligible institutions include junior or community colleges,
colleges or universities, and accredited technical,
vocational, or trade schools.

Criteria

Agricultural Fields of Study:

  • Agribusiness
  • Agricultural economics
  • Agricultural education
  • Animal sciences
  • Conservation
  • Feed science
  • Veterinary medicine
  • Similar majors

Minimum GPA Required
On a 4.0 scale
Previous recipients may reapply

Preference Given To:

  • Graduates from Chautauqua or Cowley Counties,
    Kansas, or Oklahoma residents
  • Students attending a Kansas institution
  • Demonstrate academic progress and financial need
  • Extracurricular involvement will be considered
