The decline in advertising and subscription dollars does not cover news-gathering costs. Introducing the Strengthen Allen County News Project
This new collaboration between the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas and the Strengthen Allen County New Project the will allow donations to help financially support efforts to bring you reliable, local news to ensure our communities remain informed and connected. Funds will help support local reporters, expanded digital efforts, and video offerings. Local media in Allen County includes coverage of Elsmore, Gas, Humboldt, Iola, LaHarpe, Mildred, Moran, and Savonburg.
