Understanding the value of those in helping professions, the Albright Family Scholarship Fund, Healthcare Related Field of Study provides financial assistance to encourage and support students pursuing postsecondary education from an accredited educational institution who are entering their last two years of study in a healthcare-related field and will be upon graduation beginning their healthcare career.
This scholarship is for students who have shown through their actions and coursework a desire to seek a career in a healthcare profession to care for or improve the well-being of others. Preference will be given to those who have worked or volunteered in a position demonstrating care, compassion, and service to others.
Amount of award(s): up to $5,000 (up to 4 installments of up to $1,250 each, fall and spring)
Number of recipients: up to 2 recipients
Eligibility criteria
- Entering last 2 years of study in a healthcare-related field
- Will be beginning a healthcare-related career upon graduation
Selection considerations
Preference will be given to those who worked or volunteered in a position demonstrating:
- Care
- Compassion
- Service to others
