- Fort Scott Community College
- Labette Community College
- Neosho County Community College
- GPA (on a 4.0 scale): 2.5+
- Studying:
- Business
- Science
- Technology
- Teaching
- Excluded areas of study:
- Athletics
- Music
- Poetry
- Theater
Selection considerations
- Preference will be given to:
- Students who state their life goals and their program of study
- Students from:
- The Erie & St. Paul school district (USD 101)
- Crawford County school districts (Frontenac (USD 249), Girard (USD 248), Northeast (USD 246), Southeast (USD 247) – not Pittsburg (USD 250))
- Labette County school districts
- Bourbon County school districts
- Students from Missouri, Arkansas, or Oklahoma may also be considered.
- Students who have earned their GED may be considered.
- Students entering an association-degree program may be considered.
- Previous recipients may also be considered.
