The Future Fund is a giving circle made up of people who want to do great things for the community. By pooling resources together, the giving circle structure enables individuals to achieve a greater impact with their charitable giving than they could separately.
We are pleased to announce that the following organizations received Future Fund grants this year:
Future Fund Giving Circle Grant Recipients
- Caring for Kids: Grant money to be used to enhance the quality of life for children and youth.
- Children’s Advocacy Center, Inc.: Grant money to be used to purchase a computer and printer for the addition of an additional half-time child and family advocate.
- Class LTD: Grant money to be used to purchase an additional paper shredder to expand their Eco Shred Document Destruction services.
- Elm Acres Foundation, Inc.: Grant money to be used to purchase “In the Mix” DVDs to be used as a resource for cognitive skill building and core educational programming.
- Mount Carmel Foundation: Grant money to be used to purchase gasoline cards for cancer patients.
- Pittsburg Farmers Market, Inc.: Grant money to be used to purchase and install durable, safe, and attractive benches manufactured from recycled materials.
- TFI Family Services, Inc.: Grant money to be used for Project YES: Youth Enrichment Services.
- Wesley House: Grant money to be used to renovate child care room to be used during their cooking classes offered to low-income families.
