Since 2006, the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas (CFSEK) Future Fund grant cycle has been making a difference throughout Crawford County. This year is another addition to that legacy with $17,271 granted to 14 Crawford County nonprofit projects. Since 2006, the CFSEK Future Fund grant cycle has awarded $214,530 in competitive grants in Crawford County!
“We’re honored to award this year’s Future Fund grants to such a deserving group of organizations,” said Devin Gorman, CFSEK Executive Director. “The work they do strengthens our community, and it’s a privilege to support their efforts. Twenty years ago, a group of visionary leaders had the foresight to establish the Future Fund endowment. We are grateful for their enduring legacy and the opportunity to support the work of these great organizations.”

- Families and Children Together Inc. – Finding the Light: Suicide Prevention Training
- Foster Adopt Connect, Inc. – Self-Care Needs for Crawford County and Other Area Families
- Fostering Connections – Foster Parent Retreat Events
- Inspire Health Foundation, Inc. – Inspire Student Leaders & Readers in Health
- Miners Hall Museum Foundation – Safety at Franklin Community Park & Miners Hall Museum
- Pittsburg Area Young Professionals – PAYP Annual Bike Drive
- Pittsburg State University Foundation, Inc. – Immersive Healthcare for Little Explorers
- Safehouse Crisis Center, Inc – Increasing Outdoor Cameras at Emergency Shelter
- SEK Community Action Program, Inc – Growing Together: Family Engagement Through Nutrition and Nature
- SparkWheel – Sparking Success in Pittsburg Students
- Special Olympics Kansas – Youth Leadership
- The Salvation Army – Books give middle school and high school students a world of possibilities!
