CFSEK Launches 2025 Get Busy Livin’ Grant Cycle

The Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas (CFSEK) has officially launched the 2025 Dylan Meier Get Busy Livin’ Foundation (GBL) grant cycle, continuing a successful and multifaceted community partnership that has supported youth volunteerism throughout the region since 2016.

Since 2011, GBL has sought to uplift young people that embody the spirit Dylan brought to his everyday life: adventure, fitness, curiosity, generosity, and a daily zest for life experiences. In 2016, the GBL Foundation established a granting fund through the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas (CFSEK) that supports youth volunteerism projects throughout Southeast Kansas. Since 2016, more than $30,000 has been granted to over 60 projects!

The 2025 GBL grant applications are available now until March 31.

“CFSEK is honored to partner with the Dylan Meier Get Busy Livin’ Foundation to facilitate these impactful grants made throughout Southeast Kansas,” said CFSEK Executive Director Devin Gorman. “GBL inspires local youth with a powerful message about living life to the fullest while teaching them valuable lessons about the benefits of volunteering and giving back to their communities.”

In addition to their granting cycle through CFSEK, the GBL Foundation hosts an annual scholarship through CFSEK, and they also help financially support students wanting to volunteer abroad. Furthermore, GBL sponsors the Dragon Player of the Year award and KPREPS Player of the Year award, honoring outstanding student-athletes. GBL will also host their annual 5K, Friendship Walk and Kid Fest at Hutchinson Field this April 26th at 9 a.m.
