Since 2017, the Elm Acres Foundation grant cycle through the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas (CFSEK) has supported projects uplifting at-risk youth in Southeast Kansas. This year, $20,570 was granted to 12 nonprofit projects. Since inception, the Elm Acres Foundation grant cycle has awarded over $209,000 in competitive grants in Southeast Kansas!
“We are grateful to partner with these outstanding organizations serving at-risk youth in our communities,” said Devin Gorman, CFSEK Executive Director. “We are proud to support their meaningful work, knowing these projects will make a lasting difference for many young people here in Southeast Kansas.”

- Fostering Connections – “Known by Name” Project
- Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters – Match Connection & Life Skills Celebration Events
- Pittsburg Area Chamber Foundation: Pittsburg Area Young Professionals – PAYP Bike Drive
- Reach One Teach One Foundation – Back to School Supply Drive
- SparkWheel – Ensuring Basic Needs are Met in Parsons and Pittsburg
- Special Olympics Kansas – Unified Champion Schools for Southeast Kansas
- The Foster Closet, Inc. – Feets & Seats
- USD 250 Pittsburg – Club 209A (Needs Closet)
