The Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas (CFSEK) is preparing to celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2026, a milestone that begins today with the unveiling of a new logo!
Working with LimeLight Marketing in Pittsburg, CFSEK developed the new logo to reflect the impact the foundation has made in Southeast Kansas over the last 25 years, and the growth it envisions for the next 25 years and beyond.
“Partnering with the team at LimeLight Marketing allowed us to create a visual identity that truly captures the spirit of our foundation,” said CFSEK Executive Director Devin Gorman. “This new logo represents our evolution as an organization and our commitment to honoring our history while staying modern and accessible for the donors and nonprofits we serve.”
Since its founding in 2001, CFSEK has granted over $28 million to benefit the people of Southeast Kansas. While this new logo represents a visual change for the organization, the organization’s core values and dedication remain unchanged: serving the region by encouraging charitable giving, benefiting the common good, and improving the quality of life.
“As we celebrate this milestone, we are focused on honoring the legacy of those who built this incredible foundation while looking forward to the opportunities of 2026 and beyond,” Gorman added.
Community members are encouraged to watch the CFSEK Facebook page for future updates about the 25th anniversary celebrations throughout the year.
The Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas awarded over $2.8 million in grants from all foundation funds in 2025 and has facilitated over $28 million in total granting to Southeast Kansas since its inception in 2001. CFSEK serves the region by providing donors with various charitable interests and encouraging charitable giving, which addresses present and future needs in our area. The Columbus Area, Fort Scott Area, and Girard Area Community Foundations are affiliates of CFSEK. More information about CFSEK is available at SoutheastKansas.org.
