2023 Future Fund Giving Circle applications are now available through CFSEK [Update: Closed]

The Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas (CFSEK) is pleased to announce the Future Fund Giving Circle grant application is available now and will remain open through Thursday, August 31, 2023.

Applications can be made through the online portal.

What is the Future Fund Giving Circle grant?

The Future Fund Giving Circle is a philanthropic group of friends and family in the Pittsburg area who pool their resources to make a positive difference in Crawford County.

In 2023, up to $18,478 will be available to fund nonprofit projects in Crawford County.

In 2022, the Future Fund Giving Circle awarded $18,509 to 16 nonprofit organizations representing 6 Crawford County cities. Awards averaged $1,157 and ranged from $500 to $2,400.

Since 2006, the Future Fund Giving Circle has awarded over $155,000 in grants to Crawford County nonprofits!

Project expenses typically not funded

  • Ongoing operating expenses/salaries/stipends/personnel costs
  • Mileage reimbursement or travel costs
  • Building /construction projects/capital improvements
  • Religious activities unless the project serves the public regardless of religious affiliation
  • Political activities
